Mirror.co.uk reports, Zayn Malik made a huge show off support tonight and no doubt mended thousands of 1D fans' hearts as he congratulated his former One Direction bandmates on their new single.
The singer, who famously fell out with Louis Tomlinson after launching a solo career alongside Naughty Boy, appears to have made up with them all - and he couldn't be prouder of his boys.
He wrote on Twitter: "Proud of my boys the new single is sick. Big love. 🙂 x."
One Direction delighted fans by releasing a surprise new single this week.
The band dropped the song on iTunes and Spotify worldwide with zero promo.
Liam Payne was first to tweet, writing: "Bit of a surprise! Check out our new single! It’s called Drag Me Down & I hope you love it as much as we do."
Within seconds it had already clocked up thousands of favourites.
Louis Tomlinson then tweeted a smiley face, before writing: "We wanted you guys to have our new single first so here it is!"
"Thank you for all your constant support. Hopefully you love it, we're proud of it :)."
In less than an hour, the song already made it to number one on the iTunes chart.
It comes just a day after ex One Direction star Zayn Malik announced he had signed a new solo deal with RCA Records.
