Unreality TV reports, Liam payne has revealed that when One direction take a break next year, he’d really like to write some songs for his former bandmates.
It is expected that Liam, Niall Horan and Harry Styles will all launch solo music careers, but along with singing and performing, Payne wants to work behind the scenes too and pen songs for other artists.
He’d love to hear Harry or Niall crooning one of his tunes, or adding a track to their solo album apparently and in an interview with Attitude magazine the hunk explained:
“When the other boys go solo I would love to write songs for them. I want to make great music that people want to listen to.”
Liam thinks he would be versatile enough to write for any artist in any genre and he explained that he can pen anything from a good R&B track, to an emotional country tune. The Wolverhampton born lad added: “I have written country songs. I started out doing rap songs. That’s where my mind is set. A lot of people say to me, ‘Oh, you’ll go solo’, but I haven’t thought about that. If the right song comes along and I think I should sing it, then I will release it as a solo artist. Otherwise, I’m happy being behind the scenes.”
The lads wrapped up the US leg of their On The Road Again tour this week and will soon head home to kick off the rest of their UK shows.
