Bristol post reports, The sister of singer and I’m a Celebrity Star George Shelley has died after being hit by a car in Bristol on Friday, April 28.
Harriet Shelley, 21, had been in intensive care in Southmead Hospital after suffering severe head injuries. The Sun Online reports how a friend close to the family confirmed the tragic news to the publication on Saturday night.
The Bristol Post had reported how her mother, Toni Harris from Clevedon, said this week that her daughter’s condition had stabilised after being hit by a car.
She has been at her intensive care bedside since it happened and said her daughter was “in the wrong place, at the wrong time”.
Toni said nobody was to blame for the incident and everyone was remaining positive that there would be “light at the end of the tunnel”.
But her condition worsened and the worst was revealed late last night.
Toni’s son George Shelley is known for being a former member of boy band Union J and competing in the fifteenth series of I’m a Celebrity.
Mum Toni said at the time: “Everybody at Southmead Hospital has been amazing, they have been working 24/7 to make sure she is alright.
“I would like to thank everyone in Clevedon for praying for our daughter.
“They have been holding church services, Bristol’s Buddha centre has also been helping – everybody across different religions have been so amazing.”
